 In 2021 5G smartphones are catching up the mid range mobile phone market, Now poco launched poco M3 pro their cheapest 5G smartphone under 15000 rupees. 

Even if we don't have 5G network, having a phone with 5G support is cool but the Poco M3 pro loses some things for being the cheapest 5G phone, it's kind of dumb actually losing the important features for getting a feature's that we can't use now.

Let's see the things poco m3 pro loses and offers while comparing it with other 4G mid range options.

Pros in Poco M3 pro

Dimensity 700 Performance-

    Dimensity 700 is a 5G enabled midrange processor launched by MediaTek , it is a 7nm processor so we can expect it to be  more power efficient,

    Dimensity 700 offers good performance, the benchmarks  are almost equivalent to Snapdragon 720G,

    It is octa core processor its CPU has  two high performance cortex A76 core and six power efficient cortex A55 cores,

    The processor has Mali 57 MC 2 GPU, so the gaming performance should be like what do you expect from a mid range smartphone,

5G in Poco M3 Pro-

    Poco M3 Pro s dual SIM 5G support and it supports a large variety of 5G bands such as n1, n7, n3, n8, n20, n28, n40, n28, n41, n67, n77, n78.which good because many 5G devices only supports couple of bands,

Other Pros of Poco M3 Pro -

    Poco M3 Pro comes with 5000mah battery, so battery life would not be a problem it should definitely push you through a day,

    Poco offers android 11 based MIUI 12 without ads, where mobiles from xiaomi redmi display ads we can take it as positive.

    Poco M3 Pro has NFC support which is quite rare in markets like India, by NFC we can do payments easily. 

Cons of poco m3 pro

Display-

    Poco m3 pro has 6.5 inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with 90 hertz refresh rate, with 450 nits max brightness it's a nice displays not too bad,

    But the other mobiles in this price range has super AMOLED displays or better LCD display high with refresh rate 

Camera-

    Poco offers triple camera set up, that has 48 MP main camera, 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth and 8 MP selfie camera, it's a poor camera specs actually, when comparing it to other phone in the segment,

    Poco m3 pro doesn't have an ultra wide sensor, where the many competitor mobile phones in this segment offer ultra wide sensors, and much more capable camera set up.

Others-

    The predecessor of the poco m3 pro, the poco m2 pro had a 33 watt fast charger in the box, but now poco have given a 22.5 watt charger but now the phone only supports 18 watt which is a degrade.

Conclusion-

    If you badly want a 5G mobile at this price, go buy it, otherwise i advise you  to reconsider the decision to buy this phone, like i said before this phone trade many things for being a 5G phone, great things that you get from other brands, 

 

     If you want a 5G phone with good specs go for other cheap options like realme 8, or if you want a phone with great specs and 5G not a problem for you means then go for redmi note 10 series.
